Amp Stereo Amplifier
Amp Stereo Amplifier
I have a guitar amplifier,, model02407, harmony, I was wanting to know could this work as Lil amp for my stereo?
in my house for my 61 / 2 "subs 300 watts Roadmaster.
Overall guitar amps distortion is too much and not almost enough power for the use of sub-woofer. 50 Watts at 10% THD is strong enough to guitar and sounds pretty good. However, for a sub-woofer I'd like something more like 100 watts at 0.2% THD from a small sub-woofer. Remember power is not what blows speakers, distortion does. guitar speakers are designed to operate with heavy distortion, sub-woofers are not.
Does the stock stereo in a 98 Honda Accord have all the proper hook ups for an amplifier?
Just bought a 98 accord ex v6 coupe and have two subs and an amp I want to install, I would rather do the job myself as to save money, but has anyone hooked up an amplifier to the stock stereo in an accord?
noooooo.
get a line out converter. scosche makes some good ones. try amazon. installing amp is simple. I'd also suggest new wires but those door speakers are a pain to get to. worst case run to the stock speaker wire under the dash. Radio and center console is easy to remove. rear seats have a few bolts to remove.
