Model A-5002
Power output of 250 watts per channel RMS into 8 Ohms or 375 watts per
channel RMS into 4 Ohms with a total Harmonic Distortion less of less
than 0.09% distortion. Stable into low impedence loads too.
Rack Mount panel with heavy duty rack mount handles.

Condition:
VG Cosmetic Condition and 100% operating condition. No appreciable scratches, dimples, bumps or gouges. Please look carefully at the pictures. This is the actual unit you will receive. Only noted blemish is a small amount of corrosion on the bottom rear edge. It's minor and not where it can be seen. I tried to take a picture but it failed to be visible with my lower resolution camera. I touched it up anyway.
This IS NOT AN ESTATE ITEM, or a lucky garage sale find! This has been a part of my system for quite sometime, and has been the
victor in many an amplifier comparison war. It was never found lacking, even against much more expensive and esoteric gear. Sonically it's advantages are: a SMOOTH and 3 very
dimensional output with tight full and highly defined bass, a LUSH and OPEN
mid range, and an extended, detailed but never harsh high end. Speakers used to
evaluate with over the years included Proac's(several models), Dahlquist
DQ-10'(notorious amp power eaters), Apogee Duetta Signatures, and many
more. It powered all of these, even the full range ribbons with ease.
It runs at room temperature for most any load and output within it's
clipping limits, as indicated by the Truclip indicators. It's been
thoroughly checked prior to listing at a professional higher end audio shop, and found to meet or exceed all original performance specs.
Controls are smooth and quiet. This is being reluctantly offered for sale
because I have gone entirely the other direction with my setup. I'm sure this too
will pass, but for now it's where the hobby is at, and it's expensive! So, the sale of this currently not needed item will help further my
temporary insanity!
