WOW let me tell you this amp has nothing but power ......................power...............................power, amp is in great condtion with normal ware, front panel and glass are spotless , has been bench tested the outputs have been balanced this one is good to go.The D1200 Power Amplifier was tested by Stereo Review. They proclaimed it to be "the loudest 100 watts they ever heard!" It is a dual mono construction amp meaning it has separate power supplies for each channel, left and right. The power is rated at 100 watts, but with the "Power On Demand" feature, this amp has 7.3db of headroom and can hit over 500 watts on short peaks into 8ohms! Signal noise is about 120db and the distortion is less than .02%
It has gold tip RCA connectors. Connect to your speakers either via banana clips or bare wire. The Proton D1200 is an immensely powerful power amp. It is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel RMS from 20 to 20,000Hz with no more than 0.02% total harmonic distortion.
