Here for auction is this set of 105 monolock power amps.
These were back in the day the top of the range power amp
from Meridian. They were generally regarded as an as good if not better
alternative to a Naim 250 to drive Linn Isobarik speakers (a notoriously difficult
load).
This set are in fine working order. One of the boxes has a
couple of marks on top while the other is almost unmarked. This has never
bothered me as I put the unmarked one on top. In a rack you would not notice
it.
Not only are these great amps they manage to do so while
being very compact. I am also selling the matching 101 pre amp and matching 104
tuner. This is a very stylish set up and embarrasses many modern systems.
