Purchased in 1979 by my father this unit has been used with care and was serviced by Myer Emco ( local authorized dealer) over the years and most recently in 1993 and never used again. A picture is included of the last service receipt. The unit has been idle. I just plugged it in and all the lights are bright and it’s a classic. I do not have any components nor speakers to attach so I connected my iPod to get a picture of the meters moving. No need for me to say anything else for the enthusiasts out there. I have the original owner's manual and service manual for which a picture is included. The unit has not left my home since it was purchased in 1979 outside of maintenance. The wood case is broken but I will include it and picture is included. The Panloc’s work just fine. There is no rust on the unit, no bubbles in the glass. The unit is being sold ‘as is’. It is 30 years old.
Shipping? I called McIntosh on Friday (03/04/2011) and ordered a shipping box for the unit ($70) so it will be shipped according to the manufacturer. The unit weighs 98 lbs shipped and local pick up is an option as well.
