Carver TFM-55x Magnetic Field Power AmplifierCarver TFM-55x Magnetic Field Power Amplifier, made in USA. 380 watts per channel into 8 ohms in stereo and 500 watts into 4 ohms in stereo,both channels driven 20-20,000 Hz with less than .5% THD. This amp. can also be bridged to mono and produce 1,000 watts into 8 ohms. It features High Current and High Voltage Mag Field Power. This is the most powerful Amplifier ever made in the TFM series, manufactured in 1995. Bob Carver designed this amp. to emulate a tube amp. and succeeded beyond his expectations. This amplifier sounds simply incredible with any music. The power seems endless and the fidelity is amazing at low or high levels. All functions, two analog dB out meters,lamps and switches, function perfectly. Infact, both lamps have been replaced about a month ago by ordering the 100% brand new light bulbs from www.sunfire.com. Winner of this Carver Amp. does not have to worry about the lamp for the next 4~5 years.The component was rarely used since I purchased. This amp. is in perfect operating and excellent cosmetic condition. This was a part of my collected stereo system, but I rarely ever used. I'm selling it because I have decided to part all of my stereo collections except for few tube items. The overall condition is excellent
