This
is a genuine the legendary Vintage Carver M-1.0t Magnetic Field Power Amplifier in excellent working
condition.
This power amp was sold from 1986-1990. You can find all kinds of cool write ups about the M-X.Xt's on the web.
If you dig a bit you will find that the "t" version was the one that
Bob Carver tweaked to sound like
a Mark Levinson ML-2 except with more power. The headroom is amazing. Truly
wonderful sound. I am the original owner of this amplifier (purchased back in 1989). The
amplifier was professionally fabricated to add 4 holes that allow the amplifier
to be rack mounted (as pictured). The face is in great conditional
outside of a very tiny shallow scratch about 1cm wide near the power switch
otherwise the case is in very nice condition. Everything else about the
amp is in great working condition. It's been a great amp and hard to let
go, but I no longer have a use for it.
